ABOUT

I am a Surface Pattern and Product Designer with vast experience working for both UK and International markets in greetings and gift product, stationery, craft, table and party ware, home, travel, fashion and textiles.

I have a comprehensive knowledge of the Adobe suite, and am proficient in repeats, product and packaging development and presentation, through to artworking for manufacture including copy and instructions where needed.

I pride myself on having a versatile handwriting and working well to tight deadlines, fulfilling briefs competently and efficiently.

I have worked closely with suppliers and manufacturers remotely and on site in factories to develop a variety of product, and happy to consult in this area and to work in-house based on your needs.

Other skills I can offer are researching, presenting and interpreting trends and producing appropriate Pantone colour palettes.

Companies I have designed for include Waitrose, Lakeland, Walmart, Primark, Waterstones, The White Company, Smiffys, Studio, John Lewis, Mothercare, TJMaxx and Tesco among many more.

Additionally, I have experience working with licensed art and brands such as Disney, Laura Ashley, CBeebies, Hello Kitty and Caroline Gardner to name a few.

I am keen to integrate my own sustainable and socially conscious values into my every day work.

Having recently expanded my knowledge of sustainable design and environmentally friendly materials, printing and dye techniques, manufacturing processes, LCA's and socially responsible systems, and completing online courses with the London College of Communication, the University of York and The Sustainable Angle amongst others, I can now offer input and advice in these areas...
